Of our Sunday services the most informal is the 6.30pm evening service, after which we have refreshments in the Abbey and then further opportunity for discussion over drinks and food (usually Pizza). The speaker from the service is also invited to come and answer questions about their talk and the subjects raised. This has led to a dedicated group of students coming along, strengthening our links. To develop friendship and fellowship further we have a Student Home Group that meets on a Monday night, at 7.30pm in 9 Kingston Buildings (opposite the Abbey). This usually begins with a meal, leading onto opportunities for Bible study and prayer in a social context. If you would like to know more about what the Abbey is doing with students or when and where the Home Group will be meeting this week then please be in touch with Alan Garrow at alan@bathabbey.org Prayer VigilsTwice a year there is an all night vigil in the Abbey. This includes games, a prayer labyrinth, silence, sleep, prayer from the tower and a well earned breakfast in the morning. This is a great opportunity to give time and space to God. For information about the next vigil, please contact Alan Garrow at alan@bathabbey.org. Pictures from the vigil in February 2008
